Cookie Policy
How and why Indoor Ventilation Solutions uses cookies on this website, and how to control them. Last updated 28 October 2026.
This policy explains what cookies are, which ones we use on indoorvent.ie, and how you can accept, refuse or change your choices at any time. It should be read with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more generally.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit it. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember your choices and to give website owners information about how their site is used. Similar technologies, such as local storage and tracking pixels, are covered by this policy too.
2. Your choice
When you first visit our website, a banner asks whether you agree to analytics cookies and embedded media. Cookies that are not strictly necessary are not set until you agree. You can accept all, reject all, or choose which categories to allow, and you can change your mind at any time.
You can also use the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. Your choice is remembered for six months, after which we will ask you again.
3. The cookies we use

These are needed for the website to work securely and to remember your cookie choice. They do not need your consent.

These help us understand how visitors use the website so we can improve it. The information is aggregated and used only for statistics.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |

Embedded media (only with your consent)
Some pages show content from other companies, such as a Google Map on our Contact page or a video from YouTube. Until you agree, we show a placeholder instead and nothing is loaded from those companies. Once loaded, they may set their own cookies, for example:
| Provider | Cookies (examples) | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Maps | NID, AEC, SOCS | Shows the map and remembers Google preferences | Up to 13 months |
| YouTube | VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE, YSC | Plays embedded video and measures views | Session to 6 months |
These providers control those cookies. See Google’s cookie information for details.
4. Fonts
Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts. This does not set cookies, but your browser sends your IP address to Google when the page loads.
5. How to control cookies
- On this website: use the “Cookie settings” button above or the link in the footer.
- In your browser: most browsers let you view, block and delete cookies. Blocking all cookies may stop parts of the website, such as the contact form, from working.
- Google Analytics: install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
- Advertising settings: manage Google advertising preferences at adssettings.google.com.
If you withdraw consent for analytics, we delete the analytics cookies we can reach and stop loading the analytics tools. Cookies already stored by third parties can be removed in your browser settings.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when we change the cookies we use. The latest version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated shown at the top.
